This is my first post so please be nice everyone. I know there are some of you on here that still play naruto generations, as i do, and I am making a post pertaining to this game.
Ever wonder why it feels like you never have any subs? Or your chakra is always low? Well that my friend my have something to do with how you manage your subs. In this post I will shed some light on the importance of managing your subs and your chakra, and how to manage them from what i've learned so far in this game.
I have noticed that from the time a person first starts to play until the time they become a little higher in rank, they all play the same. I dont know what it is but I know depending on their rank how they will play before they even fight me. Beginners: They have little to no type of sub and chakra management and they sub for every little attack, even shuriken. Intermediate players: Most players this level discovered the use of endlessly chakra dashing. So of course all they do is rush rush rush. Advanced players: They have a pretty good understanding of how to manage their subs and are keen when it comes to combos and using their assist correctly. Im here to help out the beginners and intermediate players.
Lets get started. For one thing managing your subs can and will be the reason you win and lose. The substitution guage takes seven naruto seconds to recharge. With that being said, as hard as it may sound, it is good to, in your head, count down when your subs will recharge. Why do that? Well the number one mistake that rookies do is use a sub the moment they get one. That will mess you up greatly Because not only did you have to wait 7 seconds to get one sub, but now must wait seven more seconds to get more. And in this game where you face people who rush when you are out of subs, seven seconds can feel like a long time. And you will lose because of that. SO my advice to you all will be to know WHEN you should sub and WHEN you should just take a hit. 1-unless about to die, never sub when it is recharging, wait till u get all four first. 2- never, unless about to die, sub when hit by a shuriken. That is such as waste. 3- If you can try to keep at least one sub on you at all times, you never know when they will hit you will a ultimate and you need that last sub to get out of it. And 4- Watch your opponents tendencies. When being hit in a combo a lot of intermediate to advance players will hit you twice then chakra dash at you. Why do they do that? Because we advance players learned that most people will sub after the second hit of a combo. With that being said we anticipate it and chakra dash at u the moment you sub, giving us another chance to hit you, and you wasted a sub(rememeber wasting subs can be your downfall). So here is a little tip on how to beat that. Learn how they fight. If you know they will chakra dash you out of anticipation, let them hit you for a few more hits. Example, they hit you twice then they chakra dash thinking you will sub, but you will only be letting them hit you. after they chakra dash again, sub right after. that will throw them off if you do it at a time when they don't expeect it, opening up a counter attack for you.
Now chakra management. This is myself I have a little trouble with and it has cost me to run for my life a lot in this game. There is nothing worse then to be chased down by an enemy when you have no chakra. You canont chakra dash out of the way, you cannot do any jutsus. It pretty much puts you in a very very bad situation that you do not want to be in, because intermediate to advanced players will take advantage of this. The thing I learned is to manage how many jutsus you do. Try to keep your chakra levels at least at fifty percent, so you wont be stuck running for your life unable to charge because the other player wont let you.
Once you learn how to manage your subs and your chakra, while also learning to outsmart your opponent. Your win loss ratio will increase dramatically. Hope this tips helped.
