Are you tired of thse long range players? Rushdowns kicking your butt? And oh lets not forget everyones personal favorite, Susanoo. All the different ways you can lose can be very frustrating but there is a way to win against any strategy, if you know what to do. In this thread I will be listing all of the things I've observed while playing this game, my thought processes, and how I implement my tactics in every game I play to increase my chances of getting that win.

If your really commited to winning in this game you must take several factors into mind. One, designing your team. Some people like a theme type team, and then there are others that pick the ones that go with there fighting style. I personally pick according to my mains characters strengths and weaknesses. Ill give an example. My personal fav to use it itachi. He has a decent tilt, decent jutsu, and a fast grab. He also throws alot of shuriken compared to most characters. Now after accessing my player I think, How can I improve him? Maybe he needs some cover. Maybe I want more long range help. Possibly some defensive help. Once Ive made my choice I have my squad. Example, my team is Itachi, Pain, And Hidan. Pain is used when im out of subs and i need some breathing room. And Hidan has several purposes. When players get too close i take hidan out and let him swing. This does one of three things.1, they sit and block. 2, They waste a sub. And 3, if they are fast enough, they jump out the way. Most of the time its one or two. If its one, I run up to them while they are stuck in block stun and I grab them. If its two, i rush them to make them lose more subs. And if three...well darn I missed. But If i can get one or two I have a win win situation for me.

Now for the fight. In ranked matches we dont know for sure who we are going to play against. I advise you check out there ninja cards to see who they use most and get an overall feel for the player. Are they using a long rang mostly? Do you see alot of naruto or sasuke? whatever you see should influence you support characters. Ill tell you why. If I see someone like ten ten i know im in for a long range game. So ill have someone who will block for me and i will add balance. I pick guard because my support protects me when they throw shuriken, which is usseful when trying to charge chakra. And i pick balance because if your going to be throwing things at me all game, I will too. And balance adds more weapons that are thrown. If I see someone like pts neji I know that this person will rush me like craze, because we all know pts neji is very very fast. So for support I know I have to always have at least one person that is on guard. This is where I have the advantage. When they chakra dash at me my support jumps out and blocks for me and stalling them. When they get stalled you have a brief moment of oppportunity to launch the counter. I personally like to great them with a dose of fireball to the face.

Now for the fight. The screen is loading and you see there players. And what do you see....Ten ten-_-. Now we all know how this game is going to pan out. Ten ten has close range assist that she will unless when I get too close. So I have to think, how can I get them to play out of there comfort zone? Well for one. I don't rush the other player. I wait a few seconds to see what they will do. If they instantly start throwing shuriken I Dash to the side over and over and throw shuriken myself. What this does is hit the interrupt the other player. Nine times out of ten they stand still when throwing there shuriken combos so me dashing and throwing shuriken makes them miss and I hit them. Which in turn forces them to play differently. Again I dnt rush them because I am cautious of there assist. Once they waste there assist thats when I most in. I will typically charka dash them forcing them to fall back. Now this is where the split second decisions come into play. I can either dash and block while at the same time sending Hidan out to do my dirty work so I can grab him or make him waste a sub. Either or is good for me. Or I can rush him untill he gets his assits back. Now the second the other player gets their assist chakra dash backwards. They usually send their assist out the moment they get it so me backing up before they even come out is a waste for them. Rinse and repeat. :)

Now I spoke earlier about using the support to block chakra dashing, but what about before the team guage fills? What do you do then? Well obviously you must play it smart. Do you really want to rush him yet? Or do you want to wait till you have some back up? I personmally let them rush me. And this is how it plays out. Typically they chakra dash then attack. What I do in this situation is block there chakra dash, then i ninja dash backwards one time then block again. I say exactly one time because when they chakra dash you have a second to dash out the way of there incoming attack and have time to block there next rush. Now I see one time because if you do it more then once you run the risk of getting hit by their neext chakra dash and then you would have to either sub or take the damage, which is what you dont want. So remember, block, jump backwards, block. Do this until your guard starts to turn red or their chakra gets low. Thats when you attack. Or if you are fast enough it can play out in a different but better way. When you nlock the first dash and jump backwards they usually sit there and attack, leaving you the time to chakra dash them. Making them waste subs or taking damage. If they so sub jump out the way of their attack and repeat. All this is doing is making them waste subs and you keep yours. all about execution
