[Discussion] general displeasure towards naruto discussion

naruto is a fun manga to read and a fun anime to watch, however there are a few bothersome aspects that gnaw at me whenever i decide to start reading naruto mangas or watching the animes.

sasuke is too powerful, all the fun characters get killed off, naruto only knows 1 ability the entire manga, madara might as well be jesus christ, and then konan, one of the few aesthetically pleasing characters, is sucked into ultimate uchiha jutsu and implodes.

it is almost insulting to watch naruto chase after sasuke after being betrayed and spat on trying to save him. this manga has delivered several valuable life lessons but this one is a actually a type of mental disorder.

sasuke still captures the heart of naruto's one love interest after taking a 3 year hiatus?? what an overwhelmingly worthless protagonist! dragonball z atleast had some good powerups and certainly wouldn't have been as popular if goku had just been a punching bag for his enemies.

great story overall. perhaps i am seeking too much depth from Naruto.

Naruto is a great story.

But some general concepts like the Rasengan, Elemental training, Sage mode etc etc they just took too long to come into the manga and left me personally wondering...if Naruto was away for 2 and a half years trying to train for Akatsuki why the f*** didnt Jiraiya teach him elemental jutsu or introduce him to Sage Mode...EH!!!?!?!?!?!

And yeah Kage Bunshin/Rasengan was over used a bit. Most of Narutos fights are won on pure determination and willpower whereas Sasuke is a calculating fighter and wins through tactics etc.

Naruto overall though has more good points than bad so...I dont complain..........much

Well in my opinion most protagonists suck anyway.
Goku was cool because he was funny ( Naruto is turning into a drama queen himself now, hyperventilation...he used to be funny ).
Well at least Alucard from hellsing is still the best protagonist.

Jiraiya was trying to tech Naruto in an off and arrow n way Sage Mode but Naruto never back then could stop to just meditated, it was not till Jiraiya died that Pa was able to get Naruto to meditated because of Jiraiya's death that was the catalyst to get Naruto to go were He needed to go.

I agree I would have liked to see Naruto come back from the time skip with an elemental jutsu. Sasuke has 2 and Naruto had 0 and took him forever to figure out he he is wind natured.. I would have loved to see a new technique (not related to rasengan). I mean Jiraiya could have taught him more than that.

Agreed and he could have at least started Sage Training and when Jiraiya died got serious and completed it etc that woulda been good.

Cause hes immature Jiraiya and Pa couldnt get him to master it - Jiraiya dies - Naruto gets real and masters Sage Mode.

And a Wind jutsu Naruto coming back after 2yrs would made sense I mean it seem from the flashbacks all Jiraiya taught Naruto was how to break Genjutsu and control the foc better...

Well, in the two and half years, Jiraiya tried to teach Naruto an unnamed Jutsu that involved the fox's chakra that we have yet to see.

Sasuke has the cooler of the battles, Naruto overdoes Rasengan.

On the fox he used Super Oodama Chou Mega Fox Sized **** Up A Mountain Rasengan.

Then he used Fuuton Rasenshuriken.

Then he used Rasengan Barrage, with his other signature jutsu, the Kage Bunshin.

Then he used Mega **** up everything clone jutsu Rasengan.

Then another FRS.

All these variants of the Rasengan are annoying. I want new jutsu, though this fox mode is a huge powerup. It seems that Jiraiya took Naruto out for two and a half years for nearly....no reason at all. He came back with better taijutsu, the ability to break genjutsu, a bigger Rasengan, and a jutsu he can't even use.

All shit he could have done in Konoha! He should have started Sage Training then. He coulda accessed the fox much quicker had he been able to.

Yea. I agree there are things in the Manga that don't make sense. I still don't understand Naruto's thing with Sasuke. I know he never gives up but its different Sasuke's a total waste of time and Naruto wants Sakura and Sakura wants Sasuke. He is throwing salt in his own game by trying to save him.
I am sure if Jiraiya was training Naruto that he did learn things other than Rasengan. But I feel he is lacking jutsu. Even Sasuke really doesn't have many jutsu that aren't related to his KG. I think most of the characters lacked. Jutsu. With what is possible in the manga it makes Kakashi or the 3rd Hokage look Boss when it comes to knowledge of jutsu. I really want to see some new techniques from everyone I have been watching and reading for years and the character development is just not where I was hoping it would be.

naruto is able to give chakra punches, (as in the fight with Pein)
Naruto already mastered frog kumite komite, or however the heck that's spelled
Naruto if not being able to do an elemntal jutsu, he's got collaboration jutsu with Gamabunta's child
Those are the ones not mentioned earlier


My answer to your philosophical quest:: Well, then, you like Naruto Shippuden
Buy a Hesse's book, or Schopenhauer's..

take a trip to some Asian destination(I already did, 6 years ago and I'm still here wkkk) it's good for martial arts, life..anything

Sage Mode first step to learning is meditation stoping all physical activity in order to draw in Natural energy, Every time Jiraiya would get Naruto to meditated Naruto would quiet in boredom needing to do something, how can you tech such a person to stop? I think everything in the manga is completely necessary. Naruto chasing after Sasuke symbolizes the everlasting bond of friendship that cannot be broken. That's what the entire story of naruto is about. Peace, forgiveness, and bonds. I also have no idea why people keep saying that sasuke is too powerful when we haven't even seen what he can do yet and naruto is off mastering kyuubi mode. Right now, Naruto could crush Sasuke like a bug, so yeah, of course Sasuke is going to have to get stronger too. Finally, the only reason naruto TOOK a 3 year hiatus is because he needed to get stronger to bring sasuke back. So people shouldn't complain about parts of the manga that are completely necessary to the entire meaning of the manga.

Or maybe Sasuke cheated on Naruto and Naruto got angry so they broke up and Naruto cried everyday. Then since there was nothing there for Sasuke he left the village. Naruto regained his stupid senses and went to go forgive Sasuke and give him another chance, then he heard Sasuke left and he got even more depressed, Now he's on a journey of incredible odds to go find his ex-boyfriend Sasuke and tell him that he forgives him and still wants him back in his heart, maybe even get married, who knows.

BTW lol Goku and Naruto are alot alike even kishimoto said Naruto got alot of his aspects from his own personal love of db/dbz.

Goku spent ALOT of time in dbz being a punching bag then through determination and will power and sometimes the helpful random power up he would emerge victorious.

Naruto used the fox demon to beat haku after he and sauske got pummeled.

Goku started off strongly winning against nappa and vegeta...but ended up getting defeated in the end...and allowing vegeta to escape by stopping krillin from killing him.

So...pretty much...take a close look...there way to similar at times.

Naruto uses rasengan and kage bunshin way to much.

Goku used kamehameha and spirit bome way to fricking much lol

Every naruto movie pretty much ended with him using some kind of rasengan.

Goku in pretty much every movie ended it with some kind of spirit bomb.
