According to experts in lion behaviour, Mmamoriri developed the characteristics of her surrounding male counterparts in order to survive.
She isn’t the first to do so either – there are at least five other ‘genderfluid’ lionesses on the plains of the Okavango Delta in Botswana, Africa, where Mmamoriri was found.
