"I came into this life ass first, but I try to make the best of it."
Basic Information
Name: Ars Greyrat
Nickname: Ibaraki Douji |Gender-bent Ibaraki Douji |The Blitzkrieg Baron|Berserker
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Clan: Fallen – Surgebinder
Appearance: Ars is a handsome young man, standing an even six feet tall with a lean-muscular build and a body that hides many scars. He has medium-length dirty blonde hair worn in a messy, unkempt style and piercing golden-brown eyes. Lending some level of truth to his title as a demon, Ars has slightly pointed ears, and slightly elongated beast like, canine teeth that give him a more animalistic appearance, though this is only cosmetic. However his most prominent feature would likely be the tattoo’s that cover the entirety of his hands and feet. These tattoos color his skin a deep scarlet red and crawl up his forearms and calves while taking on the appearance a fierce tribal fire. He also has the same kind tattoo of around his throat.
Ars’ outfit usually consists of a pair of sturdy metal boots that extend up to his knees which partially protect his legs from ordinary weapon strikes without weighing him down. The boots are worn over an ordinary pair of black pants, with two pouches on the back of his pants to carry his basic ninja tools. He also wears a white short-sleeve shirt with a ragged and uniquely torn red cape/cloak worn around his neck. The cloak is adorned with an embroidery pattern that closes resembles large blood spatter.
Personality: Ars is a laid back person with a no-filter personality and a tendency to be sarcastic and somewhat apathetic to the concerns of others besides his family. Though he’s carefree and tends to make often unnecessary remarks, he’s genuinely kind and overall, a pleasure to be around. His presence is a present. He’s loved by all of his followers, the ideal leader. Strong, smart, charismatic, caring, and yet humble. No really, I swear! However if he had one vice, it would probably be his love of women, something all Greyrat men have in common. After eventually forming a new kingdom for him and his family to reside, his greatest desire is to form his own harem. He’d like nothing more than to have one of his wives – preferably a bad little Spanish jawn – send him off with some tsundere service every time he heads to battle. “Don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm worried about you. But if you don't come back, I'll never forgive you.” Just hearing that would motivate him like you wouldn’t believe. But really, he’s a great guy. Barely passes as a human being, but a great guy nonetheless.
All jokes aside, he can be serious and straightforward when the time calls for it. It's just that, after living nearly half of his life in slavery, he likes to follow and indulge his desires every so often. However he's not so tactless as to take it easy in the middle of a fight. As the “oni,” Ibaraki Douji, he shows a blithe disregard for human life or morality. He knows only how to fight and seeks the destruction and elimination of his enemies. He becomes a complete berserker, almost fighting without a regard for his own life. Few have been on the receiving end of his anger and lived to tell about it. Ibaraki Douji is the aspect of Ars’ personality that manifests itself on the battlefield. He relishes the gory scenery and the euphoria that comes with knowing he stands above all others. While he does fight to protect those he loves, there is no honor or beauty in the way he does things. After fruitlessly fighting against tragedy and losing the people he loves for years, he sees life as nothing but a farce comedy and no longer fears for his life. His family is the only thing that keeps him somewhat grounded.

Background Information
To my younger self,
Remember when we were really young, how we used to read those old comic books? I remember you always used to admire the main characters and the way they were courageous, fought for what they wanted, overcame all odds, got the girl, and saved the day. It’s pretty funny now that I think about it; rather than the main character, you always thought of us as being more like a side character – the type of guy who would be lucky if his fans voted him above 10th place in a popularity contest. Well don’t worry; I’ll be the first to tell you, you’re no Yamcha. You’re not doomed to die an obscure death, nor will you be relegated to the sidelines forever. I’m actually writing this letter to let you know that soon, you’ll be the protagonist of your very own adventure. However, things aren’t as glamorous as they are in comic books. There are going to be times when you’ll wish you were killed off early by the Saibamen. Life’s about to put you through the wringer and you’re going to have to man up and rise to the challenge because, for better or for worse, everything’s about to change.
Now I’m sure you can already tell, but our mother Eris, has always been a simple person. The only thing she was ever really good at was swinging a sword. Though she was our mother, sometimes I remember her as being more like a drill sergeant. She was always aggressive, the type who would immediately swing her fists when she was angry or embarrassed – a classic tsundere. That being said, her forthright personality was perhaps one of her greatest charms. Low key, she’s probably also the reason for your obsession with the architype later in life, Young Oedipus.
But back on topic, before she settled down in our humble little town and abandoned her noble title, mom was hailed as one of the strongest living swordsman. Back when she was travelling the world with our father Rudeus, she earned the title “The Mad Sword King – Eris Boreas Greyrat." She lived long enough to pass on some of that strength to us, but even she couldn’t be prepared for what will come around the time of your twelfth birthday. There will be a raid on the town, made by a neighboring village looking to procure more “human resources” to serve their kingdom and fight in their wars. They knew and took advantage of the fact that we all made our home in an idle town of weaklings. However what they didn’t know was that our town was also home to the Mad Sword King. She would meet them to halt their advance and buy time for everyone else to flee. One on one, she would never lose to anybody – that’s something I still believe to this day. But even she couldn’t fight against their vastly superior numbers.
It’s at this moment that you’ll have to make a choice, one that will affect you for the rest of your life. If you run away and escape as she instructs you to do, not only will you survive, but you’ll be able to avoid the worst pain and suffering of your life – the kind of stuff you wouldn’t even wish on your worst enemy. Well, I know that even though I say that, that isn’t an option for us, is it? Being there in the moment, I know full well that no matter what I or anyone else tells you, you’ll run after her and fight with your half-baked skills. Our father has long since passed and left her alone; I know that you’ll refuse to leave her behind too. You’ll tell yourself “I mustn’t run away.” You just need to be prepared for what that will mean for the both of you.
Your desire to go back will spur on a few foolish others to turn back and fight with you. Unfortunately, you guys won’t be enough to protect anything. Not only that, but with your actions, Eris’ sacrifice was in vain as she died unable to save anyone. The raiders will abduct all the younger surviving children and kill off the remaining adults. They only keep you younger ones around because you’re still naïve and can therefore be trained and controlled in such a way that prevents your escape. The village ends up looking like Hinamizawa and it’ll literally feel like you’re caught in a game between Lambdadelta, Bernkastel and Beatrice. You’ll no longer have anywhere to go back to. You’ll be a human slave. You’ll literally have to fight and kill for each meal. There is no other means of survival for you. You’ve been demoted to “Human Debris,” drifting from battlefield to battlefield. You Can (Not) Advance. You Can (Not) Redo. However, You Are (Not) Alone.
Over the years, you’ll spend a lot of time with other kids in your situation. Other child soldiers, who like you, can only show their true worth on a battlefield, no matter whom or what you’re fighting for. A lot of the other kids your age will have resigned themselves being tools of war, but we were always made of tougher stuff. Not wanting to give in to despair, you’ll charge forward single-mindedly and without hesitation despite your circumstances. Those sword skills you inherited will come in handy and you’ll use them with staunch precision against your enemies. Now that I think back, at that time we were probably channeling all those heroes that we used to read about; trying to channel their courage and indomitable spirit. However these experiences taught me that we would never be the kind of idealistic hero who goes around screaming embarrassing lines like “My drill is the drill that will pierce the Heavens!” or “I’ll destroy that screwed up illusion of yours!”
Eventually, the kids will be drawn to you and admire your strength and charisma in the face of adversity. Those guys will become your new family. Wanting to create a place for all of you to belong, a place where you and your family won’t be doomed to die meaningless deaths, you’ll scheme to find a way out of your situation. After living half of your life under their thumb, you’ll start a coup d'état that will change the course of your lives forever. With strength borne from surviving on countless battlefields, you’ll swiftly eliminate those who controlled and tortured you for years. It’s only after this incident that you earn the name of the demon “Ibaraki-Douji,” the de facto leader of a powerful group of “oni.”
Now although you will have escaped, you and your family still won’t be able to live an ordinary life. Why? Because of the stigma that comes with being Human Debris, no one will hire you and no one would want you in their village. You’re also uneducated and there are some among you who never even learned to read or write. At best, you’d just be sent to another battlefield at the beck and call of a new owner. The only way for you to survive is to carve out a slice of the world for your own, for you and the others. You’ll have to create a place for you to belong, even if by force. Around this time, as if knowing instinctively, you’ll be approached by a woman who will offer you a helping hand. Her name is Amara, and she’s basically promised to grant all of our wishes, whether it’s world conquest, eternal life, or to defeat the saiyans that are coming to earth. She’s told me about this thing called “Prana” and says that, through its use, I can obtain the power to create a new path to existence. I’m about to go with her now and see if what she’s saying is the truth. If it is, then have faith and stay strong, because things might be turning around for the better.
Sincerely,
Your Older Self

Other Information
Fire AffinityTaijutsu and Kenjutsu weren’t the only skills Ars learned from his mother; he also trained in, and over time, mastered the Fire Element to such a degree that he could perform it’s techniques with a single handseal. In one of their brief conversations, Amara happened to comment on Ars’ specialty, saying that fire represented “love and hate.” Ars felt that duality perfectly represented him – his love for his new family and the hatred for their keepers are what made him into who he is to this day.
Taijutsu and Kenjutsu Prowess
Due to his life on the battlefield, Ars’ has developed a body well-suited for close-range combat fighting, demonstrating tremendous taijutsu skill combined with equally impressive speed and dexterity. When he was sent to fight, he would always be placed at the vanguard, spear-heading every attack against enemies. Due to his rigorous training even before becoming a slave, Ars has always been more of an aggressive front-line fighter. His skill with a sword is nothing to scoff at either. He earned the nickname “The Blitzkrieg Baron” for his tendency to charge straight in and cut people down without hesitation. For him, to live was to kill.
Misc.
Ars carries with him at all times all of the basic ninja tools such as kunai, shuriken, explosive tags, ninja wire, etc. On his hip he wears a specially made katana crafted from dragon bone. The blade is strong and resilient, able to cut effortlessly, yet light-weight and easy to swing despite its size. The blade is a bit longer than traditional katana, but still shorter than an Odachi. After killing him, Ars procured the blade off of the enemy general that captured and tortured him for half of his life. Besides the materials that make up its composition, the blade doesn’t have any other special qualities or abilities.
