I think Gekko Moriah will make a return in this Arc. He did fight kaido in the past and got defeated since that day he hates Kaido alot. so it makes sense for him to return in this arc.Gekko Moriah will team up with Law and Luffy to fight Kaido.

They'll be a flashback of him and kaidou, moriah would look more plausible then than he did against luffy so Oda would try to get the strawhats to ask for any exploitable weakness to defeat kaidou. But in the end, it would always be that one on one match with Luffy vs Kaidou. It's gonna be a big asspull but entertaining none the least.

Hope he does to be honest, even with everyone the mink-ninja-samurai-pirate alliance doesn't look enough to challenge Kaidou. :/

Wasn't he shanked by Doffy after he lost to Luffy on order from the top? He's dead
No he isn't dead. After he lost to Luffy at marineford, under someones order beyond sengoku doflamingo and some pacifista were told to kill him because he is too weak. Then the scene is cut. Although, later on we see Doflamingo reporting to someone in the World Government that "moria simply vanished fufufu" .
Do you remember moria subordinate Absolom, the lion-undead dude who had the invisibility devil fruit? There are theories he came and rescued moria.

Do you even follow onepiece properly?

You mean Absolom the pervert who was pummeled by yung Sanji? I don't think he'd even risk rescuing Moriah, even if he were alive.

And yet he did. Besides Absalom was later seen infiltrating Kidd's meeting with his alliance and reporting back to possibly Moriah.

So Moriah that close to the island Kaidou later crashed on. Can't be a coincidence.

Let's hope so. Wasn't a character i'd call a good villain, but still better than the ones we got lately. (tbh nw so far had nothing good to offer than doffy anyway))
Could be interesting to see what he's up to and how he changed.

I'm glad you went with the Absalom route and not the Sugar turning him into a toy idea which was impossible since becoming a toy makes everyone forget you so if he was turned the Marines wouldn't have remembered him to even ask about him. Absalom is the most likely choice.

But Ninja-Pirate-Samurai Alliance already have enough big names who can challenge Kaido and his crew like:
1)Zoro-Kinemon and some Samurais can beat Shogun
2)Dukes will get their re-match against Jack(lets say Drake joined this fight and helps dukes beat Jack)
3)Sanji-one of the WB commander(Jozu) and lets say Hawkins faces another calamity
4)Jinbei-another WB commander(Vista) and SH(like Brook or Franky) beats the last one
5)Marco will face Weeble
6)Ussop and Nami might lead some fodder army(Samurais/Minks) who will face Kaido's fodder army.
7)Law-Luffy-Kid and later other supernovas like Zoro-Drake-Apoo-Hawkins and killer might face Kaido.

I don't think Moriah is required in Wano arc. He already got his a** kicked by Kaido once and lost his crew. I dont think he will dare to step foot on Kaido's territory again.

By any chance, did you get a deja vu while writing this?
