And you cant take everything said in the manga literally, "said to seal everything it stabs". Sword of Kusanagi was meant to cut and pierce through anything as well.

someone mind explaining to me what the hell happened to the statue anyways. It attacked for a bit and then disappeared with not explanation. Now all the bijuu's are in undead hosts. Is if just an empty vessel on a battlefield or something?
