Gedo Mazo and Rinnegan

Okay so a lot of people here say that the Gedo Mazo is a summon exclusive to the Rinnegan. I disagree.

So far Nagato and Obito have summoned it (and Madara is utilizing it), and all 2 (or 3) have the Rinnegan. This does not convince me that it is a Rinnegan summon, I see this as more of a coincidence. Nowhere in the manga or Narutopedia (I checked) does it confirm this statement. It can be speculated but not stated as a concrete fact.

We should, however, be looking at what it is. I'm theorizing that it has to do with Hashirama sense Zetsus were growing off of it. But the apparently widely accepted fact contradicts it being linked to Hashirama, because we know he didn't have the Rinnegan.

It has some connection to Hashirama; I think Madara created it using Creation Of All Things, but when he did, Hashi's DNA took over, and it become wood-like in it's appearance.

Any who, I still think it's a personal summon of the Rinnegan. I see what you're saying though.

My bad when I said "Madara is utilizing it" I was referring to the latest manga chapter, obviously not anymore.

Also Tobi hadn't tried before the Rinnegan, therefore it's still speculation and coincidence.

I think that it is a summon that is exclusive to the Rinnegan. BUT BUT BUT in order to obtain the Rinnegan YOU NEED WOOD RELEASE. This allows you to get the Rinnegan, is my assumption. And the Gedo obviously has a WOODEN body created from Hashirama's DNA (Mokuton), so it is a summon of the Rinnegan but it is essentially created from an outgrowth of Mokuton. I think.

Gedo mazou is not a summon, it's a creation.

As we see Tobi showing kabuto the heretical demon statue "this is what I created using the cells of the first hokage" we literally see him coming out of the plant , this was also shown in the previous chapter on the page where it looks like a zetsu clone looking like tobis mask is shown .... It shows the same image if the first hokage with like 6 arms. I had predicted that the gedo mazou was created to store the bjuu as history says hashi tamed the beast I think he stored them , however this is not the case madara created it using hashi DNA tough that is a fact.

Its called the Demonic Statue of the Outer path for a reason :| Outerpath=Rinnegan

Actually it's called the heretical demon statue. And it's purpose is store the tailed beast chakra.

I also believe the gedo is more connected to hashirama,because why would it be on his mokuton flower that madara was connected to.
