Not really. Doflamingo outclassed Luffy pretty easily with minimal effort, Luffy seemed slightly serious during that quick skirmish. Doflamingo still wins.

If Doffy couldn't keep up, how'd he strike Luffy in the first place? If Luffy is so much faster than Doffy, why couldn't he evade the clone? He noticed the clone before it struck. Luffy was able to dodge the cut for Kyros because, being that Kyros is weaker than Luffy, Doffy didn't bother to use the speed required to hit Luffy. The second time Luffy dodged, Doffy didn't know what his speed was quite yet. Once he got a handle on what Luffy's speed was, he simply upped his speed and completely outclassed Gear 2 Luffy.

hyenas can eat Cheatas because they out manuver them.

So once doffy saw he can't keep up he outsmarted luffy when he was attacking the clone. The clone attacked but couldnt kill cause luffy saw and moved at the last second walking right into a punch.

Lol why r ppl acting like doffy is slow when he's called sky demon for how fast he is in air .... If y'all think luffy is gonna mid diff doffy of all ppl u r stupid af espcially since all of luffy's bosses he has barely own or own extreme diff or in croc case gets low diff twice then suddenly wins ....

Yeah but people will constantly overestimate his speed like he's Kizaru 2.0 until we see some real combat speed, mid air.

OT: On ground Luffy takes it high diff, if he's Gear Stacked.
If Doff is midair though that all depends on Luffys surroundings.

That's not what happened. Luffy noticed the clone coming, and was slashed. The force of the slash knocked him into Doffy's punch because he was too slow to evade the clone. Outmaneuvering someone requires better speed, since speed ties in with movement.

Luffy can't solo Doflamingo he's gonna get help from Law to beat him.
