[Theory] Gear 5th & 6th?

I've been recently thinking about the Gears and I found an interesting pattern but I feel like it's a far stretch.

So right now we know that:

Gear 2nd = Manipulation of Blood

Gear 3rd = Manipulation of Bone

Though we haven't seen much of Gear 4th we can assume it has to do with the Manipulation of muscle
but from what was shown his main utility is the use of Busoshoku Haki/ Armament Haki with his Muscle expansion.
This was very apparent from the draw back of Gear 4th, the lost of Haki for 10 minutes (as of now) so:

Gear 4th = Manipulation of Muscle + Busoshoku Haki

So if we follow this pattern it's Manipulation of a Major function of the Body + Haki.

So here where it gets pretty ridiculous, My theory is since Gear 4th showed that it utilizes Haki as one of it's main roles of the techniques so we can guess that Gear 5th and 6th does so as well.

Gear 5th can be the Manipulation of the brain in correlation with Kenbunshoku Haki so that his reaction time and thought process increases dramatically with the help of Kenbunshoku Haki which then increases his combat skill and speed(He becomes smart?) which he needs considering EoS villains would be more powerful and faster so he would need the combat ability to fight speedsters like Kizaru.

While Gear 6th is the hardest, I can only hope that Gear 6th is the Manipulation of his Will/ or Heart combined with Haoshoku Haki his Haki power would be greatly increase like a awakening (Similar to 8th gate minus the suicide), the ability to access all his Haki (Something like Shanks but stronger.), because the stronger the Will the stronger the Haoshoku Haki.

Gear 5th = Manipulation of the Brain + Kenbunshoku Haki

Gear 6th = Manipulation of one's Will/Heart + Haoshoku Haki




Please don't hate, It's only a theory. Please tell me what you think. Be honest, I don't mind.

I agree in that I also think Gear 5 will have something to do with the nervous system but I think it will be predominantly Haoshoku based. I mean, Luffys Kenbunshoku Haki should be constantly active in-between gears

It's not physical speed we're talking about it's speed regarding thoughts and reactions from the brain. Like kenbunshoku haki times 10, reaction times increase as well which will change his whole fighting style (not completely).

Also he doesn't manipulate them, he uses the effects of rubber to change their properties. Pumping his blood, blowing up bone and muscle.

But the things you listed with brain and will can't be increased by the effects of rubber.

It's not physical speed we're talking about it's speed regarding thoughts and reactions from the brain. Like kenbunshoku haki times 10, reaction times increase as well which will change his whole fighting style (not completely).

Even with increased reaction times, the top tier characters have been shown time and time again to match their opponents power with power, in OPV top tier characters don't avoid attacks; most top tier attacks are either too vast or cover a very large area............

You don't know 4 will be the last and I bet if we looked back long and hard enough you probably said the same thing at Gear 3rd.

Yet Oda always surprises us *_* there's multiple ways to do it. Back then if I said that Luffy can produce a fire attack using his rubber people would say the same thing you said. ^^

I would rather see Luffy get stronger in his base at this point. The more he does Gears the more he's lying to himself about being strong and the harder the drawback. Sure he might do some Gear Fifth or Sixth and be Pirate King level but the drawback will be equally strong. I want him to be legit stronger than everyone, not just when he uses Gears.
