Has anybody else read this manga? Well, for those who aren't familiar with it, I can say this was a fun manga. Not a top tier romance like Clannad, but still an awesome story. A lot of realistic romance and the drama was very emotional. A bunch of plot twists and intense moments, I'd say it's like a longer, less comedic version of Chikan Otoko.

Basically, there's an awkward guy who always watches the girl he likes play tennis. Another girl discovers this and asks him about it, learning about his feelings. She then decides to help hook them up, and a lot of romantic developments follow. Happy, sad, silly, devastating, there's a wide range of feelings that come up as a result of the stuff that happens in this story. The romance encompasses a wide range of relationships as well, so you get a glimpse of the struggles of pretty much all of the characters that really matter. Because of this, it's impossible to say that anyone hogs the spotlight too much, obviously the 3 central characters get the most but sufficient attention is definitely given to the side cast.

The romance was touching and the character development is pretty fantastic, but it's not all perfect. While not to a terrible extent, the story did feel a bit draggy at times even though it's clear what direction things had to go in. I wouldn't say that this was a dreadful thing, but there was a slight frustration with the hesitation of the characters at times and it sometimes felt a bit longer than it needed to. Also, while there were definitely some dramatic twists and crazy surprise moments, the overall direction of the story was a tad predictable. Even though the details weren't always easy to deduce, you could pretty much figure how things would turn out in the bigger picture, particularly for the final romance but even for some of the side stuff going on as well.

In the end, yes, I could say this was a Good Ending. Not a great ending, but a Good Ending. You could sorta tell how it would all go, but it's still a satisfying conclusion to a satisfying series. Romance fans would definitely enjoy this one.

thx for the advice at some point ill read it.. if u like sad love stories go ahead and read Deep love..its heart shattering! there are like 4-5 different versions..all being seen from different perspectivs of different chars...also like sequel/prequel like.. check it out. and prepare a tissue^^

Ah I see, I've never heard of that series before but I'll definitely look into it. Hopefully I can read it soon.

And nice choices there, I've seen both Angel Beats and Anohana, both of those are amazing series. Definitely up there when it comes to emotional romance drama. I really loved them both, some of the best short anime I've ever seen.

On that topic, have you seen Clannad, Toradora, or Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai? Those three are also fantastic romance dramas, Clannad in particular. In my opinion, Clannad is the best romance of those I've seen, probably the most emotional story I've ever seen and the character development is realistic and very touching. I would definitely recommend any of those if you haven't seen them.

Yeah a lot of people are telling me Clannad is one of the best choices out there for romance dramas.. I'm about to check it out now As for the other ones I'll check them out but anyways thanks for the recommendations I appreciate it dude

Yeah Clannad is one of the best anime out there in my opinion, easily one of my favorites. And no problem, the others are also great series. In my opinion they're not Clannad level but still very enjoyable and well worth the watch, so I do hope you'll enjoy those as well.

Truth be told I enjoy all of those even more than Good Ending, though GE is still really good all the same.
