-if you support gay men/women in the military, what would you say to a religious person(who is against gay relationships) about gay men/women serving the country? how different would your tone be? what arguments would you pull up to support your claims?

Gays have always served in the military. If you are asking if serving in the military and being openly gay is an issue, I'd say no, its absolutely not. Its the 21st century. Its time to throw away crass religious ideals that only hurt others.

OP: Gay people are ****ing awesome, I have several homosexual friends. I say if they want to serve, let them serve without dispute or bigotry. They should have the same rights as everyone else.

Technically religious people don't disagree with gay relationships, they disagree with gay *** because the purpose of *** is to reproduce and two men or two women physically cannot procreate.

Honestly my closest friends are gay/lesbian so I would ignore it but if they go a bit far I'd just tell them to stop seriously.

Men and women serve together in the military. The same exact thing could happen between two heterosexual people. :|

It doesn't matter if gay people serve or not fraternization with anyone has severe consequences. I'd mock them for their homophobia. What does it matter if gay people get it on? How does it effect them? Do they think they'll be raped by rampaging mo's or something?

The only down side I see to it, is how would you handle living quarters and the barracks situation?? We don't have coed barracks because the amount of sexual harassment reported would just spike..and nooobody likes to sit through a sexual harassment brief everytime there's an incident lol And I made the coed comparison because it's very similar (if not the same) to gay men sharing showers with other men and vice versa..its like throwing a match in a box of fireworks and praying none of them go off
