I'm slightly confused about what you're asking. Either way, it's the same technique as the standard Bijuudama; that method, however, is just Kurama's way of doing it as opposed to Gyuki/the other Bijuu's way. The Bijuudama can either be fired after consumption of chakra buildup (which is beam-like), straight after chakra is gathered (which is wave-like), or in compressed ball form.

swallow the compressed ball and further compressed it and start the explosion inside kurama's body untill the body streach to max point then fire (which is beam like)

All i know bro,i that kishi trolls naruto so badly giving people room to underrated him e.g naruto faster than A but still cannot hit obito.obito's kamui is not instant but now kishi made it instant just to save obito's ass.kishi really,don't care much about the manga any more.anyway i have to respect his work cause it takes a lot of hard work doing it.lol
