I always add this [Open] or this [Closed] to my titles, because even though it states 'X vs. Y' people still tend to post in the thread when they aren't suppose to and it seems even though the [Closed] is added people still post when they are not suppose too. ~_~

I don't know why you chose this place to fight. In this vast wasteland your body will never be found, no gravestone, no mourning. You'll be... Just gone. Is this what you had in mind?

I take a slight break to ponder the reasoning and logic behind your challenge to fight.


Hmph. If that's the fate you've chosen, then so be it.

Beginning with the Snake seal, the earth around you begins to rise and encase you in a dome. The light dwindles out of it as it fully closes. Leaving you entrapped within the darkness but for not long, as then an array of lightning discs break through the earthen dome, going from one end to the other and slicing anything within the dome whilst also causing it to lose its foundation and collapsing in on itself.

Keep your eyes and ears peeled, got it? I whispered to Tsume to which he just sighs.

Description: After performing the required hand seals Monkey → Ox → Boar → Tiger the user releases a discharge of electricity that fires several destructive disks of eletricity.

After listening to the words of his opponent, Iori responds...

"You see serpents have a much greater chance of survival in a wasteland, dirty dogs...not so much."

As Iori completes his words he feels slight vibrations coming from within the ground beneath his feet, he then glances down for a second and notices the earth all around him starting to rise, seemingly the earth was rising in such a manor that it was to trap him within it, Iori looks back up at Unari and says...

"I believe this is where we begin?"

Just as the last section of earth closes, completely trapping Iori within it, Iori then swiftly performs a single hand seal and inhales molding a great amount of his fire release chakra before expelling it through his mouth by exhaling, he then forms the large amount of fire release chakra into a large dragon head shaped ball of intense and blazing hot flames which blasts through the dome, and heads towards Unari, being it that the fireball would also somewhat keep Unari's vision blocked of Iori, he takes that exact moment in time to release his earth chakra directly into the ground just beneath his feet, he proceeds to turn the solid earth into fine sand, allowing him to sink into the ground and travel through it with ease, Iori then moves to his right, before surfacing at a short ranged distance of the dome created by Unari, he surfaces with his entire body parallel to the ground, with both his hands onto the ground, his one leg streched out towards his left and the other streched outwards directly behind him, while in this position where he is low to the ground avoiding any possible attack, should Unari be a sensory type, Iori releases a torrent of snakes through his mouth, that swiftly slithers across the ground towards Unari as a wall of snakes, each with their fangs sprouted from their mouths and ready to attack Unari.

Description: After performing the hand seal Tiger the user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body, before instead expelling it in the form of a number of dragon head-shaped fireballs. The user then skilfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent. The temperature of the created flames is so great that, even with the briefest of contact, they are capable of easily burning human flesh and the fireballs are dense enough to behave almost as solid, being able to deliver impact damage in adition to the fire damage. However, this also means that they can be deflected as a solid projectiles.

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.

Paying close attention to what's happening and staying alert, once the fireball rips out of the dome and towards me, I focus my chakra into the ground once again but this time right beneath me. This enables me to raise the earth but not a standard straight wall but instead a sloping wall with me at the apex and it descending down, much like a rail of sorts. The wall itself has a curvature of 50 degrees; allowing me to slide down, avoiding the fire and by the time i've reached the end, you will have popped out and readying yourself for your last technique. Letting you complete this technique, I don't counter just yet. With my chakra still imbued within the what use to be earth dome, I use this medium to my advantage. Since you're in close proximity, I simply use one of the chunks that was broken off and from your blind side, hit you behind the head with it at great force. Knocking you unconscious in the process with little to know knowledge of this happening. However in this process, your snakes still make their way towards me, a quite imminent danger, so Tsume creates the seals during the timeframe of my previous technique and once the rock bullet is complete shouts "Switch!" and in a quick motion, I jump and do a 180 degree turn, allowing Tsume to face forward and release his stored chakra at the incoming swarm of snakes. The fire however is released in a large wave, turning the snakes into crisp and ravaging all in it's path, which includes you since you're incapacitated and all...

Description: The user lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and raising earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

Description: A technique where the user makes the horse hand seal and then kneads chakra inside his body which is then converted into fire and expelled from the mouth as a massive wall of intense flames, which covers an expansive range in both vertical and horizontal dimensions, making it extremely difficult to avoid.

Iori whilst being low and close to the ground as well as having both hands and feet onto the ground, coupled with the fact that he is within a distance of short range from the what use to be a dome of earth, would naturally feel the slight vibrations and tremor within the earth as the chunk of rock is manipulated from the mountain of rubble, and just after releasing his torrent of snakes Iori glances to his right since that is where the vibrations are originating from and just in time notices the large rock being manipulated by Unari into attacking him, Iori while already having both hands firmly onto the ground, manipulates a large section of the earth at about short range squared into rising at about 50 meters into the sky rather swiftly, he has the earth start rising from where he is situated and to his right all the way into short range, not short range all around him, this would allow him to avoid both the manipulated rock as well as the weakened wall of flames, Iori then proceeds to stand up from his lowered position and gets a glimpse of Unari whom is now turned around revealing that of another person, and he starts clenching his right and dominant fist while focusing a large amount of his lightning chakra to it, he then faces his fist towards Tsume and releases the lightning chakra in a burst, causing literally one thousand birds of electricity to form and be released towards Tsume, the lightning birds then barrel towards him in attempt to electrocute him where he stands, and while opening a slight window for himself when Tsume is faced with countering the lightning birds, Iori releases his ice chakra into the sky, causing it to gradually start snowing all across the battlefield.

Description: This technique grants the user the ability to freely lower or raise the terrain within a specific area surrounding them, in a similar manner to its parent technique, albeit on a much larger scale. The user can lower or raise the ground up to 100 meters in a large section. The rise will be fast enough to pin enemies to the ground, restricting their movements as they struggle to get up and the drop will be fast enough to leave almost all enemies without a footing (albeit not airborne). Because of the large chakra needed to alter such a large area of the terrain, the user will be able to use it only a limited number of times.
Note: Can only be used twice.

Description: The User will create a Chidori within the palm of his clenched fist. As he opens his hand, the Chidori will burst and scatter into "One Thousand Birds" of lightning. Description: The user can use this jutsu to make it begin to snow down on the terrain, or, much like the “Earth Style Technique” the user can make small pillars or shields of pre-existing ice or make it materialize (if from Haku's Clan). If this is used to make snow, then after 3 to 4 turns most of the terrain will be covered.
