kishi could have made the eight gate transformation different from the 7 gates...the only thing he did was red steam coming out of gai's body...he could have made gai's hair grow out long and maybe gais cloths will then extend out like red flames(like naruto's bijuu mode somehow) just saying he could have made gai look a little different at he end of his life with a banging transformation.
