Gas prices per unit?

What was the last price you paid per unit (because in europe they use $/liter) of gas...
For example.... I paid $4.01 per gallon....
those damn oil tycoons......

in America its like $4.00 per gallon of premium gas.

Hm... In Hawaii, I think it is about... $4.05/gal.

like 3.60 for premium here...but part of why the gas is expensive is because of higher taxes.let me repeat PART of the reason.
