Garra vs Shikamaru

Shikamaru starts in puzzle mode Garra starts in a blood thirsthy mood

Location: Solid Bone forest left behind by Kiminaro
Restrictions: No restrictions
Knowledge: None whatsoever

Garra Strength's
Garra could fly and could use his sand to a constant advantage by keeping Shikamaru off his feet and altering the ground with his sand anytime the Shadow gets to close

Shikamaru's Strength's
Shikamaru will find some difficulty dodging all the sand attacks made from Garra but starting the battle in Puzzle mode i belive he will find a way to win this battle

I think that Shikamaru could win.. he is not physically strong nor is he very fast but his ability to come up with and elaborate plan in almost every squezze makes him a tough adversary

Wtf is puzzle mode?

Any way Shika cant beat shino, so there isn't any way for him to touch gaara

Shikamaru is my absolutley fav but you have to realize
Gaara barley moves his hand. his Sand does all the attacking

Shikamaru Cant beat anybody that dont need to move to fight

(All the Uchihas,Shino and his clan. Gaara and the past kazakages. etc)

Thats a really tough one for Shikamaru. I don't doubt that he'd find a way to get his shadow to Gaara (probably using one of Asuma's chakra blades), but I don't see what shadow jutsu can really hurt Gaara. I doubt neck binding will do anything, and I'm not even sure shadow sewing could penetrate Gaara's armor. Maybe shadow gathering can sneak some explosive tags in. Plus the sand can still react if Gaara is in shadow posession.

As much as I hate to say it about my favorite character, Shikamaru loses.
