I think Gaara will win because he can stay far away from oonoki by flying on his sand and oonoki doesn't have any long range we know of.

Oonoki FTW or "Draw." Both are similar when it comes to Range when fighting. They can both fly, so that also not an issue, but Oonoki maybe have the advantage in the air than Gaara, who uses sand. If Gaara has geographical advantage, Oonoki still has the chance of winning. Why?

Gaara's attacks and defenses are useless in this fight cause Oonoki can change that with his Earth Element making Gaara's Sand light or heavy.

one I read the manga :flaw: two if gaara's sand became heavy could just make more if he wanted no doubt that would take time but if he started earlier it wouldn't be a problem. Also if they were fighting in the desert than if sand go heavier due to oonoki gaara could just take more sand.

On the whole. Gaara is the better of the two and my favourite in this fight. He's smarter and has more tactical capability and more versatility in his moves.

Oonoki's moves are chakra consuming and Gaara would use Shadow clones to trick Oonoki into over-doing it.

I personally think that Oonoki has just shown us that he has the most amazing release with some devastating techniques. But taking the best of the offensive is Gaara's speciality.

Ultimate weapon was Gaara's nickname at one stage and he has been deemed to have the ultimate defence. He can take the best and live to talk about it.
If Oonoki can't give his best and still stand and fight,then he's done for.

I doubt if Oonoki can deal with a beast like Gaara in terms of chakra.He would give him a hard time anyway. So Gaara high diff.

Onoki prob takes the "W" but it certainly woulndt be easy. His dust element is kinda slow and with Gaara's sand chasing him down i doubt he would have time to use it. Onoki has more battle experience tho and has saved the kage's from the super edo madara so ill still go with him

Onokis attacks are super long range even more than Gaara.
Also Onokis chakra is massive as well, he's been using nonstop Jinton ever since the beginning of the Kages battle, also he made a giant stone golem twice the size of Gamabunta.
