Naruto is like Gara's parallel Gara's the kazekage Naruto's gonna be hokage. They had a great battle as gennin. The battle of the tailed beasts even though nine tails was fake in that fight. Although garra isn't a jinchuriki he is still the kazekage and there will be peace between all the nations. I don't see anyone else as more of a challenger to Naruto.

I think your right, naruto is stronger now but they were both very smaller in what they wanted and how they ended up looking out for each other, garra hasn't pushed naruto to become stronger but they were similar in progress and the way they turned out
