I know its been like since 2 years ago the Whitebeard Saga and I'm finish reading the latest chapter, ever since i saw the whitbeard saga i wondering can Akainu beat up garp

Garp has indeed grown old, but I think he's still stronger than the Admirals and Akainu. His haki is just too great.

Garp has no DF but a powerful haki user... logias have a huge weakness when they're up against a good haki user... besides Akainu has been fleet admiral, he sure has weakened cuz he now not in the frontlines

back when Roger and Garp fought each other, Rayleigh probably 1 shotted Garp's subordinates so Garp pretty much solo Oro Jackson crew haha. So hell yeah he owns akainu

That doesnt mean Garp would destroy Akainu...what that means is that 2 very powerfull marine soldiers would clash in the middle of a war and leave the rest of the marines and themselves open for an attack...

Garp could probably kill Akainu then but seeing as he is very old now he can only get worse while Akainu can improve.
It would make sense that Akainu is the stronger one but I just feel like the reason Garp didnt fight in the war is cause he would change the outcome drasticly so they found a good excuse(his love for Ace) to keep him out of it...
