[Discussion] Garp the strongest one piece character!

i feel Garp is the strongest one piece character because
-he is the ONLY one that was able to go toe to toe with roger (almost killing him in the end) and from this alone we can gauge his strength as stronger than shanks and also whitebeard cos roger was definitely stronger than whitebeard
-also we see many times the marines are reluctant to make him fight...why?
-because he could destroy the whole place with his punches!, we see in his fight against don chinjao that he trained by using 8 MOUNTAINS!!!! as punching bags wtf!
-also in his fight with shikki we see the whole of marine ford destroyed at the end (due to his punches)
-when he went to visit luffy in water seven, we see the speed he used to get past sanji and chopper after breaking the wall to knock luffy
-at marineford war he sent marco flying with one punch and the punch caused marco to change back to a human! (half)
-he was certain he could kill akainu!!!
-when tsuru and sengoku wanted to go chase down roger during that mysterious war, tsuru was like garp could destroy the ship just by being on it! they dint want him to accompany them.
-also if we go by this reasoning: dragon can beat luffy so garp can beat dragon!
i just feel he is one of the most underrated characters in one piece...
who do you guys think can beat garp???

Garp is extremely strong, but its no longer his era. either way no one who replied apparently reads one piece, garp isnt garbage and zoro probably still cant beat him yet, not without risking death 10 time or so atleast.

He got Knocked out on purspose, Garp did that so luffy will save Ace eventualy, he wanted Ace to escape as his grandfather but he coudn't do it in an obvious way because he has a possition to hold as a Vice-admiral too

In Garps era he was the strongest, in the "Great age of pirates" he was still arguably among the very strongest but youd imagine that he, like Rayleigh, is passed their prime. Podt timeskip who knows.

Garp is father of the worlds most dangerous man, grandfather to the future pirate king and step grandfather too the ex pirate king, and sabo. Every one he's trained is a monster. And he is feared/respected by the strongest marine's. He is definitely one of the strongest characters of op, but where he falls in Idk, there is way too many people in OP that are supposedly the strongest but just in hype, nothing actually shown.

Garp let luffy hit him, he wasn't about to lose both grandchildren in one day. Sengoku knew he let it happen.

And wasn't Garp and Roger frenemies? (Friends/enemies) much like smoker and luffy

Some serious underestimation of Garp here. In his prime, he was undoubtedly the top of the top, up there
with the likes of Roger and Edward even if he wasn't stronger than them. How they all compared to each other
is debatable but they were definitely all more or less on par, signifying his tremendous power.

Garp even old is still top tier. Anyone that thinks anyone short of admiral level, which Luffy and Zoro have yet
to hit, even has a shot of beating even an old Garp, as long as you know, he actually wants to win, seriously
lack some reading comprehension here. It's not even debatable.

I HIGHLY doubt they are admiral/yonko level now.
