[Discussion] Garp capture Shanks?

[Naruto D Luffy]

You know how Garp every now and then used to visit Luffy in Foosha Village. Imagine if one day, he had brought his whole ship and men with him and then encountered Shanks in the town bar. Lol

Considering, Luffy sprouting he wants to be a pirate thanks to Akagami. I think Garp would be angry but not attack full on, just a small fight and argument. But i seriously do think Garp can capture Shanks at that time..remember when Shanks told that bandit trying to harm luffy that "if you want to fight us, at least bring 1 battleship"...

This leads me to believe Garp's fleet was more than enough to take on Shanks and his crew at that time U_U

Shanks is the strongest man alive currently IMO...but back then during that point he was still probably top 5-10 so Garp would of had a fight on his hands

LOL most likely Prime Garp will but the current one is a no. It seems that he doesn't even hate him that much, he just has a small grudge against him for influencing Luffy to become a pirate. Shanks is respested amongst most pirates & marines.

there is noway in hell for Garp to capture Shanks crew even if he in his prime, Shanks alone is a high dif match for Garp..what abt other crew members of Shanks..?

People from Garp's ship can't do a shit against Shanks crew as there are more than 5 vice admiral level members in Shanks crew and no need to mention Benn Beckman ....probably he can take on an Admiral ...

I agree with you but in his Prime he was able to face-off with Roger who rivaled against Prime WB, who had planetary hype. As far as I know, Shanks doesn't posses that hype...yet. Prime Garp > Shanks.

Garp Prime > Shanks but that dosen't mean that it is a stomp ....Shanks is a formidable opponent for any character in OP...It is a high dif match for any top dog in a one on one battle....that's what Iam saying...

Yes Garp could have he corned Gol. On multiple occasions meaning he could have done the same with shanks but there would have been a good fight

Main reason Shanks was strong but not sure if his Haki was powerful enough to be on Par with a Man or rather a beast who was able to corner Roger single handedly number of times so it's a yes U_U
