as far as we know: Obito never really 'used' the rinnegan before... he never used any of the paths techniques so we might assume you either need both rinnegan for it or that he's simply not able of using them for another reason..

I have a theory. Maybe Obito can't use Kamui and Rinnegan simultaneously. He definitely has the paths.

cus he is, wtf, kakashi couldnt even fight pain's deva path without help from the akimiche dudes and still lost to it, he even had to play dead. and now all the paths in one person + kamui + mokuton just in front of him and he wins with a chidori

I'm just saying that just because someone has something over-powered doesn't mean they'll automatically win. I'm on your side since I think Kakashi should've died a long time ago.
