Gantz Ending Opinion(s)

So Gantz has finally ended after 13 years

all in all it was a good manga in my opinion, but this final arc was just terrible if you ask me and this final chapter just felt so rushed and not meaningful at all

there were so many more powerful aliens imo compared to the final ones. And the ones from the invasion didn't even look threatening at all aside for them being tall and fast. They just looked really human and had no horrific abilities.

I remember seeing this enemy and thought he was freaky as sh*t and was wondering what threat could even top that.

This alien took forever to kill and had like 20 different transformations before he got to his final form.

then they started building things up and never really explained this guy who said the same exact thing as the previous alien and then forced a plane crash.....wtf?

they also started hyping up an invasion with a prelude of nearly unbeatable enemies.....the teams were forced to retreat

and after all the crazy aliens and hype.............we get these guys, who are the most boring aliens in the series and some really disappointing reasoning for the entire plot of Gantz

well my point is that the final arc was a letdown and left me wanting.....everything before then was pretty awesome

Yeah, the final chapters sucked ass. This last chapter was just disgraceful, would've been better if they'd all blown to bits, honestly. Gantz, how far you have fallen. Although I didn't hate the final arc as a whole, I thought it brought another level to Gantz, and that thing that revived and killed people on a whim was really Gantzesque, it should've been the final boss instead of the other guy. z.z

That's what I mean though, there were more threatening/powerful aliens and yet we got those giant humanoids.

The invasion idea was great, it was just the aliens

also I never really liked that Kei turned 180 as soon as he started dating that chick. I thought his lustful nature would have made him go for the popstar without question, that would have been more interesting.....but instead she made a clone that didn't get the conflict he deserved.

They could have remade the Gantz balls to revive fake Kurono, the old man, and Reika, but unfortunately, since they were destroyed, the data may have been destroyed along with them as well.
