gantz ended or ongoing ?

hi, I just finished the 383 chapter :END and the least I can say is that this ending sucks to much, it's to rushed, so I looked at manga panda and found that it has the status : ongoing.
but when I red forums I found people saying that it ended.
so I'm a bit confused, I've got to say that the invasion arc wasn't good at all, all ****ed up and depressing like if I was watching evangelion ending crap, so depressing.
and then it ends on this rushed chapter ? how can an author end his master piece like that ?

This, manga was better before the ending arc. Still a good manga all around though. But yes, this manga ended years ago.
