Gaming Setup Help...

Currently, my Xbox 360 is hooked up and is sitting in a cabinet-like thing. I wanna get a monitor to play Xbox on (mainly CoD, BL2, GTA 5, etc.), but I'm not sure exactly what to do. If I get a monitor to play Xbox on, do I also I need a tower? If I do, then that sucks. If I don't need a tower, then what's a good (but affordable) monitor to play games on? I kinda want one for Christmas.

Dude i don't think you need the tower, but google it, you might get a more concrete answer.

why use a monitor and not a Tv? i prefer a larger screen to play on.
