I don't want to be an arse, but get a job. a $650 computer isn't going to run Battlefield at good settings. I was going to settle for a decent $1k PC but ended up spending $2.4k which the SLI 770's for my GPU since I do a lot of editing.
You obviously don't know much about computers then.

For $550 I built a computer with

AMD 6300 6 core cpu
ATI 7850
8gb ddr3
600 watt PSU

and it could play BF4 @ high settings before I upgraded it and OC'ed the CPU

I'm guessing you are the type of person that buy the computer instead of building one as that's the only way you can really spent over 2k on a gaming computer.

GTX 770 x2 is $600
Decent motherboard is around $100
Ram, 8gb-16gb is around $80-$140
PSU $40-$80
HDD $60-120
CD drive $15
Case $30-$80
Decent CPU $130-$300

$1435

Even if you are too lazy to build one or miss the knowledge, there are quite a lot of decent online shops out there who can build one with decent prices. Anyway a friend gave me €2k and wanted at least the following: a water cooler, duo GPU , 16 GB crucial balistix ram and a cosmos II PC case, you burn through the money.

Point I'm trying to make is tho, is that you don't need to spend 1-2k on a computer to have it play games like bf4 on good settings and above. A computer even at $600-$700 can run BF4 on high and even ultra with respectable frame rates. Even then you can just raise the gpu clock a bit and surely max it out.

Yeah I understood your point ^^ but you were also talking to a person who said that they used their PC for editing purpose, which may drastically change the requirements depending on the programms he uses. Sure if you are just using photoshop or sony vegas the average game PC would do it without any problem, but my friend for example who studies to become a special effect designer has to run tons of different software simultaneously and my PC would probably crash thr moment he tries to do something.

I know that it is irrelevant to the main topic, but I just wanted to say that plaging BF4 on ultra isnt a big deal compared to running specialist softwares.
