So I plan on doing some light gaming on my MacBook Air, I'm mostly on the move and I'd like some opinions what games I can run on, with these specs. Yup! I do have a desktop (a good one) but I just wanna play and do some gaming on my mac here usually when I'm at somehwere and get bored ...so what do u prefer me?

The specs

Inter core i5 1.3 ghz turbo boost to 2.6ghz with L3 shared cache of 3mb
8 gb DDR3 configured memory (RAM)
Integrated graphics, intel HD 5000 (1.5 gig)

The games I'd like to run are some of here.

Cod 4 (mw2)
Doom
Quake
Assassins creed 1 or 2 (even brotherhood lol)
Far cry 2

These are some games I'd like to run (at mid graphics at most) so how would the performance be?

You can easily run all those games at high quality with no lag. You might have trouble running some of the more recent games at high graphics.

You should be able to run Skyrim Ultra high graphics on that laptop.

EDIT: Just saw the specs and um, no...

lol. performance would be very weak. Doom and Quake would be possible, but the rest. no.. and for real on an air?
Yes on an air, I already mentioned why, and moreover I had no probs running cod 4 on mid settings, with high textures on my core 2 duo 2,26Ghz MacBook Pro 2010

With minimal lag overall. Which I tested and played on an integrated HD 3000 intel graphics GPU

And moreover I've heard cod 4 can run on high setting, on the current air without any lag, saw some vids on it as well regarding performance, and it wasn't all that bad

Except it can get heated up and decrease performance

And apparently cod 4 was tested on the original MacBooks and they actually gave a legit performance.

Yeah I've heard about that, seems legit, like I mentioned I already have a legit desktop to runs games, I was only asking whether I can run them on this laptop since I'm mainly on the go. I prefer the MacBooks in general. They're my cup of tea
