Games should be expensive?

Do you think Video games should be expensive? Games are expensive the minimum cost of a game is 40$ And maximum is 100$ . Think about it a games costs so much. Do you think it deserves it? Do u think they are too expensive for just games, or that they deserve to be that expensive .?

I think they get what they ask for because ppl will pay it... We bout a wii u game for 50 bucks and them spent another 20 buying updates... Expensive as hell

Some games have budgets bigger than hollywood movies. The technology to make HQ games is expensive. So ya, I get why they're expensive.

Do you have any idea how much money it takes on devoloping certain games? Let's take crysis 3 for instance, it's budget was 60 million for it's production. So to put it simply, the price is fine, It would be a turn off if they cost like 300 or something.

Depends. Some games are better value for others. However, as the user above me said, companies have to weigh up costs depending on budget and how much it'll cost to make the game.
