I'm glad that at least the part of Jon dying and being resurrected a second time by Thoros/Dondarrion was fake. It would make it all feel too gimmicky. I'm also relieved that it has been confirmed that this whole wight-hunt is an invention of the TV series and thus implying losing Viserion is one too, at least at this stage. I always liked the symbolism of 'the dragon has three heads' and one of them dying so soon kinda messes that up.
The situation in Winterfel bothers me. Because the overall plot of this season has been leaked, we kinda know the climax, but the contextual frame was largely missing. If Arya requires to kill someone to don that person's face, well....oh dear. And the Northern lords already aren't happy with how Jon is dealing with Daenerys, if they learn he finally bend the knee...and just when we thought the North was calm again.
Most likely someone probably already made a YT vid about this, but isn't what the Night King's doing just warg-magic? Only he can use it solely on corpses? And how powerful is that throwing arm of his? It's more effective than Qyburn's ballista ._.
