Wanted to make this thread to voice what I think is going to happen in the upcoming book and show. Post what you think is going to happen in either or both. Share any theories you believe in. And yes Spoilers, so if you haven't caught up with the books or the show then be cautious.
Here's a brief prediction of mine for both, I believe the book will begin with a flashback to the Tower of Joy introducing us further into the characters of Lyanna Stark and Rheagar Targaryean and the mystery behind the two on whether or not they fell in love or whether Robert was right about Lyanna being kidnapped and raped and killed. This whole thing would obviously lead up to the popular theory of L + R = J. As for the show, I think the very first episode would begin with the Tower of Joy flashback, for those who stay caught up with spoilers and news for the books or the show we know that the show runners were recently filming in Spain at a Tower called 'Castillo de Zafra' that resembles that of the Tower of Joy depicted within the books. Something interesting about whether Rhaegar and Lyanna were in love or not is a scene from the show I recall where Dany asked Barristan Selmy about how Rhaegar was like. Sir Barriston describes Rhaegar as a kind man who was invested with Singing to others and he seemed kind giving money to orphans. This points me more towards that Rhaegar was more of a gentle man and that he was a lover. Here's the video about the convo.
I'm highly positive that Jon will be resurrected, if your caught up with spoilers and theories you'd find that it is very likely so that this will happen. And now considering that Stannis is more than likely dead we can be sure that he isn't this man, the Lightbringer or Azor Ahai, we can see it in Milasandre's facial expression when she returned back to the Wall, we can see the how she finally realized she was wrong about Stannis being this man all along. However Jon may very well be the man who'll continue Azor Ahai's prophecy.
That's all I got for now, I have a lot of other stuff I want to get into about Tyrion, the Boltons, Lady Stoneheart!!! And Cersei and what may happen in king's landing whether there will be a revolution between everyone there. But it's just too much so let me know what you all think.
