1 . What is best season in your opinion ?

For me its season 3.

2. What can we expect from season 7 ?It will only have 7 episode .What made GOT so interesting is that they used our expectations against us (at least in my case ), all that plotting and unpredictability.

Now as we saw season 6 was very predictable so I have fealing season 7 would be same. There is really not that much to tell everything is leading into final battle. I dont expect that much plotting ,marriages, betrayals as in previous seasons and that kinda makes me sad. What about you ,is Game of Thrones losing its main trump cards in your opinion (dont get me wrong GOT is by far my best Tv show and books ever made) ?

You said it yourself. Everything is coming to a head so there isn't much more to tell. Winter is here, The mother of Dragons is at Kings Landing's front doorstep and in an interview with producers they were slated for a season 8 but expect that will be the last season.

Sad but it's time. We are already for this conclusion even if we scream for more on the inside.

As for my favorite season. 5. Why? Joffery's and Tywin's deaths. That sat really well with me. :lmao:

I can't really distinguish between all the different seasons at this point, the story is too complex for that. But if I have to pick I would go for the 6th season because the Battle of the Bastards and the Battle of Mereen were cinematographic masterpieces.

And there are only going to be two more seasons. No matter how complex and unpredictable a story might be, towards the end everything will converge into a single plot line, which of course limits how much twists you can add to it. Btw the overall plot of the 7th season has been leaked, so you can check for yourself whether you find it too predictable or not, unless of course you don't want to be spoiled. As far as I know it hasn't been officially acknowledged that the leaks are genuine, but the chances are pretty high they are.

Ramsey got his Butt handed to him by John and then, Ramsey's end...absolutely gratifying for me for sure. So poetic. :score:
Everything about those episodes was just phenomenal for me. The battle, ramsey's death, the score ( i got chills at the end of episode 10) jon snow's true parentage reveal. Some people would say those things are predictable, but the fact that it happened the way I imagined it made all the more satisfying.

I am kinda disappointed that Jon snow isn´t Ned son dont know why but I really am.Also origin of white walkers is also huge disappointment I was expecting some evil God created them.

I couldn't agree more. I found the last season absolutely thrilling as well. Looking forward to season 7

season 6 for sure, those last few episodes were AAA movie tier and set up the next season well. i also didnt find it that predictable, especially the events at Kings Landing. that was extremely realistic chaos from cause and effect and bloomed effortlessly

really a lot of the scenes were done at a really high level imo that season, from the first to the last episode it was good in a lot of ways

Frankly the theory about R + L = J is quite old and it being confirmed was considered to be nothing more than a formality. That however didn't reduce the anticipation to the revelation, quite the opposite. I don't know if you have read the books, but there the relationship between Ned and Jon and the latter's heritage is elaborated on much more. In the TV adaptation you only had in the first and 6th season some hints.

When you read the books and the idea of Jon being Rhaegar and Lyanna's child takes root into your mind, you start noticing all these subtleties that point into that direction alongside several other elements that were intentionally added to give you some doubts. Despite the fact that his was almost obvious, it was written in such a way that you can't be anything but excited and impressed as it was clear that Martin had this idea from the start and knew very well how to tease his readers.

In the first season when Jon and Ned spoke to each other for the last time when they respectively went to the Wall and Kings Landing, Ned said that Jon might not have his name, but he has his blood. At the time you just assumed that he was referring to him being his bastard, but that wasn't the case as Jon indeed did have his blood and another name: Targaryen. He wasn't even lying, but intentionally keeping a 'misunderstanding' alive and that was ideal for a character like him who is considered to be one of the most honorable and just lords in Westeros. I can't even imagine the face of someone like Littlefinger, who schemes and manipulates people all the time, the moment he realized that the oh so naive and honorable Eddard Stark pulled the biggest jack out of the box out of all of them. He passed Rhaegar's son as his own and hid him for all men to see. He wasn't even secretive. Just thinking about it makes me smile.

This gives a tremendous amount of depth to both the story as the characters. In comparison the version that Jon really was just Ned's bastard is rather shallow.

I agree though that the origin of the White Walkers was disappointing, though I believe that in the books Martin will give an alternative cause and that they chose this one because it was more fitting for the TV series.
