One can be more useful than the other depending on the situation. In a 1 on 1 fight I think Enma would win since he pushed the Kyubi out of the village.

A: Bunta
B: Enma

Bunta is a giant frog with a sword that can fight bijuu, but enma is a super powerful and versatile weapon

Enma is a stick. GAmabunta is a giant toad that sits on people.

Stroger: Enma has some hype going for him, however, he seems more like an offensive-support type of summon as he doesn't fight himself, instead he provides his summoner with a weapon. Overall i find Bunta to be more consistent, and he certainly provides more, so i consider him overall stronger.

More useful: Like i claimed above, Bunta provide's more and has a more varied arsenal. For that reason i'd choose him in this category as well.

1st Bold: Enma is also used for defense. He is a diamond hard weapon that can become a cage or shield to protect the summoner.

2nd Bold: Enma engaged the First and Second hokage alone in combat before freeing hiruzen from the Mokuton. Also, Enma can freely move by himself in staff form. He doesnt need to be wielded by anyone. He is capable of transforming and engaging opponents without the use of anyone else.

Enma by himself is useless. He can't turn into a staff and swing himself. With Hiruzen he shits on Bunta, without him he gets shitted on.

Response to Underlined: This one scan shows enma transfroming by himself into a staff (Hiruzen is restricted in Mokuton), and using himself in staff form to break the mokuton and free hiruzen.

I'm aware, but that rarely happens. 95% of the time Hiruzen uses him to break something. That's just another application of his transformation.

@bold: That's filler.

Just because Enma can transform and move by itself it doesn't mean he's half as good by himself as he is in Hiruzen's hands. I mean, if that was the case he and Hiruzen would fight 'separately' and there would be no point in combining efforts like they do.

Same reaction.

??? Why are you shocked?

Im not one of those crazied Hiruzen Fanboy. I only stick up for him when everyone is bashing him to no end, or not taking into account all his abilities. But im not one of those guys running around with that prime hiruzen nonsense, or shouting neutralizer all the time. I only go by manga feats to defend Hiruzen.

He was a awesome father to the Leaf village, and even you guys must admit that this base disrepects him to the utmost.
