As we can see Gai is out of breath. He's tired. But he's got enough left for one more combo.

I'm hoping hoping hoping that Kishi gives him one more move.

Like some kind of finishing move...

So he can immobilize him with evening elephant spam, hit him several times...all the while enduring excruciating pain

then finish him off with extremely powerful close range taijutsu...that puts all of his remaining energy into one strike

rending Madara's body into several pieces

and Gai can fall to the ground and have his final words before finally leaving us
