Gai's Feats: Impressive but....Still not Top 10

Not true. I give gai his credit. like i said he is very impressive, but still not good enough to be the top elite. he chooses not to use ninjutsu by the way which is his handicap to bare, not an excuse to be used by the masses as to why he should get praise. if he was not the juubi's jin he would have still survived hirudora due to hashirama's healing or susanoo. gai is an amazing and no one is underrating him, this is madara we are comparing him too so i can see why you think that, but all in all gai got deserved credit, you overrhyped him when you said he would obliterate madara if he was not juubi's jin

Overhyping him? Did you not see what Tsunade did to Susanoo with a punch? Danzo blew Susanoo away with a WIND technique. What makes you think Hirudora, a fast and strong punch enough to create a strong air pressure, would blow Madara away? And like I said, if it weren't for the borrowed power ups and Madara was in his human form, Gai would destroy him. His movements are too fast but its only due to SM and the Jubi Jin that Madara is able to avoid. Also I just said that be chooses not to use Ninjutsu which is enough to put him in Top 10 since he only uses (super human) CQC yet still manages to hold his own lol.

The obvious who are top 10 for bs would be madara obito kakashi blah blah all because they either possess a jinchuuriki or a doujutsu. I guess Hard work does mean sht both in and out of the Manga. Rock Lee was right.

Recently there have been a lot of people saying he is top 10 do to the feats of last chapter. I am here to say that is a sad misconception. In fact I will address those said feats first. So what feats did He accomplish in the first place?

We see first gai opens the gates and surprises madara with his speed with the first two scans. In scan 2 he rushes him and shows off expert taijutsu. But here is where I noticed he was about to get pwned. There are only two impact marks. As fast as he is moving madara blocked the first movement, dodged the rest and blocked the last blow aswell.

Though well defended by madara, Gai manages to surprise him again. (last panel scan 2). But the Hirudora was still countered by madara. Not only that but madara counter attacks and nearly kills Gai

Madara never left his feet the entire exchange, So what then did Gai accomplish?

-He forced madara to enter an defensive position.

-Managed to surprise madara with blinding speed.

Gai deserves credit given how powerful madara is, but can we then say he would defeat Raikage Ay because of these feats? This is the same Gai from the beginning of the war lets remember, would you have said Gai was top ten when EMS madara blocked his Hirudora with Susanoo? Because its not like he got an upgrade or new jutsu. Would you say he was top 10 after he used this jutsu on kisame and kisame manages to live? No. So why now say Hirudora can solo when it hit kisame directly and he didn’t die? Gai deserves all the credit for forcing Rikudo Madara to a defensive position, but he is not as powerful as the hype would lead everyone to believe. Gai is no more powerful than he was when he defeated Kisame. This is just my opinion. No disrespect intended. Share your opinion and discuss.

Umm he got fodderized by madara, who is fodderizing everyone soo I missed your point. sasuke got 1 paneled by him in case you forgot... and he knew what he was sacrificing when he lost an arm to sasuke. he made that choice. he was going to lose his leg in exchange for sasuke's life. you know if gaara was not there sasuke would be dead. so stop. dont act like sasuke was gonna take his leg and leave with his life....

Are you fools forgetting that Gai always has his hands tied by NOT using Ninjutsu and only using Taijutsu? He basically handicaps himself in his fights and still beats his opponents. He outranks everyone in NV in terms of speed and strength. Also, Madara having the Juubi Jin inside of him gives him a better advantage over Gai, its not even his own power. He has SM sensory to put him above others as well.. think about it.

If Madara never had the Juubi Jin inside of him and was only mortal.. Gai would've obliterated him with that Hirudora. Back when Madara was in EDO form, Gai still managed to blast Madara back and Madada had most of his strength back. Gai was injured at that point as well. Madara isn't even using his own abilities. So much for someone who claims the tailed beasts are nothing but masses of power and slaves to those with blessed eyes. This guy NEEDS help in his fights. Gai relies on his own abilities and decides NOT to use Ninjutsu. If that impressive feat doesn't make him Top 5-10 then you guys are just bias. Gai is too underrated in this forum that people fail to realise.

gai is top 15 for me since he defeated kisame. he is one of strongest but not top 10 @nd he is bit underrated

8th gate Gai will probably be somewhere between Hashirama and Juubito (I may be overestimating the 8th gate, but it looks like he's gonna put up a better fight against Madara than anyone else has so far... so yeah). Though Gai overall still won't be top 10 since he can only be that powerful for a few minutes, and has to sacrifice his life to do so.
