Why Kishi? Why?

Is it just me, or did Gai being saved completely ruin the feels?
He was going to go out like a beast, but Kishi had to take that from him.
Seriously he brought Madara to his knees, he got acknowledged by him, something no one has done this entire war.
He had already said his goodbyes to Lee and everyone else. They knew he was going to die and respected that decision. Now Naruto comes in and completely ruins it IMO.
Gai was going to die in the spot light with everyone's respect and admiration.

Naruto saving him has done nothing but ruin it. Now Sasuke and Naruto are going to take the spotlight, while he dies in the background.

He's not going to take down Madara, nor was he ever going to, but at least then he was pushing Madara to his limits and was doing it like a boss. He had completed his mission already and protected his friends
Someone doesn't have to keep living in order to have a great death, Jiraiya died without talking to anyone and his death was one of the bet in the series.

I think he will actually die in the upcoming chapters . If he survives , the whole 8th Gate hype would be ruined , and this manga would turn into a complete Dragon Ball . But really though Naruto just prolonged his dying breaths just for his final words to Kakashi or Lee , which will result in any legacy for the latter I think . But seeing how confident Naruto was , I still have doubts . You can expect anythign from Kishimoto nowdays .
