yes i do, can you explain how genjutsu works briefly, as my genjutsu sensei hasn't replied to our training in forevor. It would help alot with this training
Sure ^^
Genjutsu is the creation of an illusion in the opponent's mind. One will send a wave of chakra towards the opponent and use it to disturb the chakra flow towards the opponent's brain. Due to the created disturbance and your chakra in the opponent's chakra flow you can make the opponent experience what you want. If what you show the opponent is within the borders of what is possible, they might not know they are in a genjutsu and thus cannot escape, but if you do things that cannot happen or are very unlikely, they might notice and escape. Horrific images shown in genjutsus might cause the opponent so much stress on their mind that they will actually experience pain when they escaped out of the genjutsu. The opponent can get pain in other ways too of course, but that one is most genjutsu-ish imo.
There are certain ways to get out of a genjutsu, however, you will need to figure out you are in a genjutsu first. This seems simple at first but if I make you see the grass is on fire and you will say that you did not see me perform handseals, I will not agree with it. When you see fire rushing towards you, you will not think about handseals or chakra disturbance. You will first think of how to block the fire. There is one example of how you need to approach it.
When you figured it out, you can use something to boost your chakra flow to get out the disturbance and the opponent's chakra, like Kai or nagashi, or use a kunai or anything else sharp to stab yourself, causing enough pain to snap out of it. However, you need to deal with pain and blood loss, which may cause you to lose function of for example an arm if you stabbed it deep enough. Or you lose too much blood and get unconscious, or die. In other words, think, be wise and be careful ^^
Hope that explained it a bit o.o
