[VS] Gai vs Minato!

There has many a lot of side discussions regarding Gai and Minato lately, so let's address this matter directly.

Condition: this fight will be similar to the Tobi vs Minato fight. No outside resources and no prior preparation. This is alive Minato, so no Kyuubi

Restrictions: 8th Gate. toads. Minato has two kunia as he did against Tobi. Gai has nunchucks.

Intent: to defeat the their opponent

Intel: Manga

location: Forrest of Death

Minato takes this mid diff. If Gai had 8th gate he might stand a chance, but Minato outranks him in terms of sheer speed atm. Also seeing as how he has Sage Mode, Gai gets pwned. Even if he did have 8th gate Minato could just teleport away and let Gai slowly die lulz.

7 gate Gai is a beast, the problem here is... I don't think Gai will have time to open all those gates (Minato likes to end the fights fast), and Gai wouldn't also give time to Minato use SM (if he even needs that)

Minato can summon marked kunais anytime. Ninjas summoning kunais and shurikens with ease so how come Minato only has 2 kunais ? With 2 kunais he cant use FTG properly and lose. But since he can summon bunch he can take Guy med diff. Even if Guy goes 8 gates Minato can avoid Guy's attacks and land suprise attack. 1 touch is defeat for Guy.

We've seen enter 7th gate instantly and can't ignore the enhances of gates 1-6. Gai has already shown great reaction speed and an unparalleled fighting style.

Gai stands absolutely no chance. 7th gate loses med diff (Without intel) Without intel Minato can use clones and spread more kunais and keep teleporting. With SM His reaction time and reflexes are much better. Gai runs out of stamina from using the 7th gates and dies.

With intel Gai would lose extreme high-diff.

Location helps Minato btw.

Gai has the basic intel on Minato's abilities, he's shown great reaction in base against Obito. This idea of Gai being blitz seems illogical

I don't think Gai gets blitzed but Minato can keep teleporting. And if Gai decides to go 7th gates instantly he will get tired much easier.

if he wants to open the gates, his best option would be by getting some good distance between them first

Minato teleporting isn't equivalent to his striking ability. So while he can teleport, that doesn't decide the outcome of the fight alone

Body flicker is just fast movement. Aiming and tossing a kunia and than activating ftg takes time. We've seen Gai enter 7th gate instantly.

But like I said, base Gai has shown great reflexes. Opening any number of gates enhances that ability. Minato using ftg isn't a KO here, at least you haven't explained that

Keep up? There's a difference between analyzing ones movement and trying to physically keep up with their pace. Bee already demonstrated that one can analyze Minato's movements and predict his attacks position TWICE. Gai has equal, if not better, reaction speed than Bee in base.
