Minato wins.
Somewhere middle difficulty.How exactly?
Somewhere middle difficulty.
Minato wins this.
And chuunin exam stadium is an odd location for jounin level and above fights. Can they get out of there, or are they limited to area? If they are limited Gai has a chance of one-shotting with Hirudora right from beginning. Assuming this is alive Minato.
Minato wins.
Gai isn't going to tag him due to Hiraishin. His best chance of bypassing that is Hirudora due to its AoE, but the concentrated punch can be sucked in with S/T Barrier before it explodes. Gai's Gated speeds are nothing Minato can react to since he's reacted to faster foes (Max Speed Ay) Not to mention he can't even stay in Gates for a long time.
Minato should even be able to mark him due to Hiraishin and his natural reflexes giving him the upper hand in CQC.
This ends with Minato Hiraishin blitzing a Rasengan onto his back, he probably takes it mid difficulty.
Gai's gates last less time, Minato will just teleport from a point to another while he waits for Gai to exhaust and then defeat him. Minato's speed > Gai's gated speed.I meant how exactly does Minato defeat Gai? Minato is not going to be able to mark him, Gai has gates. Gai has better taijutsu and it seems that Gai's stamina at least rivals Minato's.
How exactly does Minato mark Gai? Gai has superior taijutsu. He is even faster than Minato in gates, has great reaction speed etc.
I just don't believe Minato can mark Gai.
-Minato's reaction speed is better than Gai's, Gates or not.
-Superior Taijutsu means nothing when he is up against a teleporting foe.
-Superior speed in Gates? If he is anywhere near Madara's speed, which is likely considering the fact that Hashirama and Madara were equals in CQC, meaning they would be on par in speed, and Minato is the fastest of the Hokage, then he'd probably be faster than Gai. Even if I'm wrong about this, Hiraishin puts him a step above almost everybody when it comes to speed, and being able to toss Kunai means he can easily teleport to Gai and mark him, or instead finish him with Rasengan.
This is just an easier version of Minato vs A, and we all know how that went.
What is this?Gai can always get away from the kunai. Gates Gai is faster than Minato.
Minato can't mark Gai. Gai has attacks from afar. Minato can just teleport to his kunais as much as he wants. Asakujaku kills him. It can be used from afar. Also hirudora. The stage is relatively small.
Uh, no, if he's coming in for an attack and Minato tosses 6 Kunai towards him at once, he's going to end up getting killed by a blitz.
Evidence for Gated Gai being faster than Minato? I gave evidence for the contrary.
Asakujaku is either evaded if the arena's size permits it or S/T Barrier sucks it in, same with Hirudora.
Gai dies to a Hiraishin blitz, simple as that.
Just read chapter 542. Same exact strategy Minato used on A, he uses on Gai.
Except unlike A, Gai won't have Killer Bee to save him.
You have no idea if Minato would have even won that fight.
You're just overestimating Minato.
