Gai vs Kisame

Kisame is at full power+Samehada(we're talking about normal Kisame who hadn't stolen Bees chakra though)

If kisame had samahada, Gai would be forced to open the 8th gate and then Gai would kill Kisame and Gai would die himself afterwards due to the effects of the 8th gate so it would be a draw I think U_U

I still think that Gai would win. Its just a bad match-up. The weakness of a person who uses chakra draining abilities is a person who doesn't use any chakra at all.

Why do you believe he will be forced to open 8gates? Samehada only absorb chakra. That doesn't help enough in this taijutsu fight.-_-'

But yet again, he said this is the third time he fought someone very skilled in TaiJutsu, but Guy is high probably way better with his Gates. That's why Kisame would lose, he just can't get the upperhand by absorbing chakra.

Even with Samehada he still can't stop Gai's attacks since they arn't chakra based.

If kisame Traps Gai in the Waterdome gai would just Blow it Away/Blow a hole in it with his Chakra, Like he did when he was underwater in their first fight.

all in all it's just a Bad match up for kisame.

Kisame's Great Shark Bullet also absorbed chakra just like Samehada and we all know it couldn't absorb Gai's Hiru Dora. It's because it was a taijutsu. I don't see how Samehada would have changed anything

When he fused with Samehada he is faster than everyone in the water.

if gai had no chakra hed be dead. all beings in naruto have chakra, no matter how small.

kisame absorbs chakra by being touched. so when gai tries to kick kisame when hes fused with his sword or with a great shark bullet in front of him, gai gets absorbed. afternoon tiger was pressurised air so it couldnt be absorbed but kisamehada senses chakra so hed know where gai is and where hes moving. samehada is also tough in taijutsu situations. it shreds his opponents skin and can sever limbs.

Even with Samehada he still can't stop Gai's attacks since they arn't chakra based

he will just regenerate since gai can still get his chakra stolen by going in for close combat and touching the sword
