Moment Bee goes V2 Gai will lose his ability to kill/hurt Bee.

Gai is not a stealth type ninja; he is more like a brawler so i don't see how he can carry out an assasination aspect of a mission on a top tier shinobi at a wide open field. His only chance of giving harm to Bee by going gates from right from the beginning before Bee does something regarding to bijuu transformation. But it is rather doubtful; they would probably have a little CQC skirmish at the beginning but Bee enhances his swords with lightning thus makes nunchuks sliced off. He would not sit around and wait when Gai starts to go gates; he would make his own transformation and start to effortlesslt beat Gai.

Most of them were not exactly concious and capable/intellect like Bee/Gyuuki combo and Gai was not exactly winning; rather holding his own.

Yes, this is very true. What exactly would a conscious driven jinki done differently in that situation? They were controlled by Tobi, so their actions had purpose behind them. I agree, he was merely holding his own but in thay given situation he should be credited
