i said guy has a fighting style , not looking into itachi's eyes , so genjutsu is pretty useless. i think even lee can fight like that.
so lee defeats itachi!

Lol, Itachi showed to Naruto that he can use genjutsu not only by eye contact with his Sharingan!!! No point for you!!! Back then he simply didn't wanted to kill Gai.

Gai destroys Itachi with the 8th gate..whether or not Gai dies after doesn't matter here because he wasn't killed by Itachi..so he wins with the 8th

This is Itachi that has aids. Yata and totsuka are useless because he can't keep his susano'o up for long. Gai has shown to be in the 7th gate for a very long time with little drawbacks. Gai would wreck sick Itachi, but healthy Itachi is a different story. Also Gai can dodge Amaterasu in the 7th gate due to Madara feats.

Izanagi doesnt apply to Gai because he is not an arrogant fcuk who needs to "accept who he is" in order to get out.
Itachi Hideout->Itachi territorial advantage

It takes time for Gai to open gates, by the time 7th gate is open and Gai starts to move Itachi already has a susanoo out and totsuka blade stuck in one of Gai's gates =D

Even if not totsuka, at least Tsukuyomi and he is done for, together with his 7 gates.
