That's why I mentioned it wasn't a one on one fight and can't be used to determine the outcome of one because with every attack they were either setting up a counter to obito or defending from him. They knew they had back up and used it to their advantage because one on one only another s/t user can touch obito and Konan had prep so u can count that or not.

.... Obito has to be using a jutsu the entire fight and destroy his chakra. Nunchaka is more than enough to keep guy safe as far as the manga has shown.

Itachi wins. He is able to erect Susano'o fastser than Kirin which is 1/1000 of a second. Gai is not even remotely as fast as that.

U probably don't realize how long obito has been fighting without a recovery. I'm sure he can outlast almost anyone stamina is definitely not his problem. He started fighting naruto and bee at 565 over 100 chapters ago and it was stated that controlling the jins and bijuu takes enormous chakra also controlling the mazo then after bee and naruto he fought kakashi and guy as well. After that him and Madara controlled juubi which takes chakra he used mokuton killing neji then fought kakashi in kamui and almost died only to come out and have Madara take over his body and minato almost instakill him. Then became juubi Jin and fought literally the shinobi world, lost and was suppose to die and he is still fighting. He needs no sleep or food I doubt he ever gets tired and he has a huge amount of chakra no way gai can outlast him alone U_U
Also ppl fighting him had to receive multiple refills and boosts from naruto while he hasn't even gotten a chance to catch his breath U_U

8th Gate cannot be considered a win though. Even if 8th Gate could potentially defeat Itachi, it ends in a draw because Gai dies as well after using it so in the end, that makes Itachi the superior fighter. I mean, if we were to consider the 8th Gate being a win for Gai then we also must consider C0 being a win for Deidara.
