Err, if I remember right. Wasn't Madara going easy on him because he wanted to see what Gai could do with the eight gates? Sure, he ultimately regretted it, but Madara never bothered to really show the abilities he did against Naruto and Sasuke when he fought Gai.

Madara's power is inconsistent anyway. He is only as strong as the plot needed him to be.


Logically he should have destroyed naruto and sasuke immediately he had no trouble doing it before he was juubi.

I agree, because Guy was actually the only one without power ups who managed to damage Madara that badly like he almost killed him in Rikudo state with Hashirama's healing jutsu, TSB, Rikudo staff and Rinnegan. That's OP for someone like Guy to drag the battle into an almost end. Sure Naruto and Sasuke was the only ones there with power ups from Hagoromo which wasn't fair, however against Madara they did need it though to seal him. I am pretty sure no one would have stood a chance against Rikudo Madara exception of Hagoromo's power ups during that time.

How?

- Haven't lost a fight in the entire manga until his last fight ever sans flashback. Naruto and Sasuke lost multiple fights in manga or needed help or handout to win

- Doesn't need handouts. Sasuke and Naruto received plenty

- No KKG or special clan. Naruto and Sasuke both belong to special clans with unique traits

- didn't care for Hokage position. Stronger than every Hokage up to 699. Both Sasuke and Naruto wanted to be Hokage

- Went 1 on 1 with a JJ with no handouts. Both Sasuke and Naruto needed handouts to even stand a chance

- Made Itachi run. Itachi soloed Naruto with a finger and died against Sasuke on purpose

- Spanked Kisame 3 times. Kisame tanked a KCM stomp and made Sasuke and Taka stop in their tracks

- Team 8: Lee negged Sasuke, Neji negged Naruto til Handout kicked in, Tenten wouldve negged Sakura during Chunin

Without Kakashi he won't bypass TSB shield
Without FTG teleporting TSB, he gets recked by them..

So you arr basically a madara hater, I respect guy for what he did as he is the only one who would come close to doing what he did against madara with no powerups, but tbh madara wanted to see what guy was made of, + he was helped and madara would have oneshotted guy with limbo in the first place, don't be blinded by hate, guy is not as strong as madara and itachi will wreck any form of guy below 8 gates, especially base guy, base guy gets amaterasued, finger genjutsu'ed gg, knowing not to make eye contact is useless infront of itachi (as seen with naruto multiple times)

He would have touched the TSB and died on the spot, which is why Minato and Kakashi took utmost care of making sure he didn't. Minato told him not to and when Madara threw the TSBs at him, he teleported them. He couldn't have done this on his own.
