Gai lets admire him.

Gai is actually my favorite character in the series above all those over hyped, powerful ninja in the Naruto universe. He is by far the funniest Ive seen because of his weird, terribly lame sense of character. (None of that was meant in a bad way at all). IMO its cooler to be a hidden beast, where people constantly underestimate you because of your demeanor, than one thats a known beast. That way, people are off guard and when you pull something crazily powerful like Asa Kujaku then everyone is in awe. Even Itachi warned Akatsuki not to underestimate him, which is something I never expected from hiim prior to that chapter.

They are just so freaking awesome, Gai is highly underristmated..
Did anyone forget Lee in part 1 how fast that guy was, when he removed his weights around his feet, manage that to gai.

Thats was my favourite part of the chunin exam arc, it was freaking awesome! But yea Gai is crazy strong and i think that before the war is over we will see all 8 gates open

I admire the way he never gave up and excelled in being a Ninja despite not having the Chakra coils to make any Jutsu.
