Team 1 wins this i whyKshi had them out the village during the attack. If they are all in danger of dieing Guy could go 8th gate and smash Pain easily but die leaving Lee and Neji. I think a 7thgate Guy and 5-6 gate Lee could get it done.(7th gate possibly could solo tbh we haven't seen much of it)

It means than when they reach pain, it will make their attack even more powerful. Its like attracting a magnetic ball towards yourself with a magnet even though the ball is already sailing at you at high speeds if you get what I mean.

While being Bansho Tensei'd .. idk and he cant when he is restrained like naruto was in the first scan i posted .. but either way CT trumps all

Pain is in his condition when he battled with Naruto; i do not recall him summoning gedo mazo there.
They can pull off a win in those conditions; maybe that's why They were not in the village in Pain's invasion arc(so Gai would not open the 8th gate and such)

Have to go with Team Gai, i see no reason he would hesitate to open all 8 gates to try and protect Konoha if need be. So you would have a 7- 8 gated Gai, likely 6-7 gate Lee and Neji who would be too much for pain i think.
