You guys forget how brilliant of a ninja Kakashi is. There is no way in hell gai would stamp kakashi. Gai knows his limits and still considers kakashi his rival. Not to mention Kakashi can open gates as well. No one knows how many but he has shown the ability to open them.

No. Kakashi is also smart. what happens when gai uses 8 gates and kakashi manages to survive. Gai is dead. the 8 gates has drawbacks. you cant act like gai can output that type of power whenever he wants with no sacrifice. the only way gai is killing kakashi is with gates, with that said if kakashi is smart enough to survive then he can still win. you cannot say gai wins based off of one jutsu.

I would have to say Gai wins. Gai has found a way to fight against sharingan users so he doesn't have to make eye contact with them and I belive that Gai with 7 gates open can beat Kakashi with high difficulty.
