As far as speed and striking speed?

In this chapter Gai managed to land two blows on Madara, forcing him to back up in the process meaning he was moving too fast to physically counter as he's done against Tobimara and Minato.

Wit ph that said, Gai in 7th gate seems more powerful than he ever expected, being arguably the fastest with foot speed and having incomparable striking speed.

With characters could successfully react and counter such blows? Let alone survive if connected? We've seen how the blows wounded Kisame

That's true, so the blow wasn't at its full strength! Gai can land himself at time 5 with the feats of this chapter alone

Man..its sad that Gai is rarely put in the top category.

I hope he gets some recognition! This chapter really proved he's superior in a few departments

thr only people who could even come close besides juubi jins in striking apeed are neji, lee, and hiashi. footspeed i basically only matched by the highest of the fastest top tiers.

Thats an odd statement, if you mean in terms of combos, then yes, but neji and hiashi don't come close in terms of strike speed. By speed I mean how fast the blow gets there, they are fast, but not that fast by far. Also the raikage hits fast too, but he hasn't ever shown the ability to do a fast multi strike combo.

no their striking speed is comparable. they can get of 64+ plus strikes in less than a few seconds. that is one of the fastest handspeeds in the manga.

Neji is weak as hell dude, no way you can compare him to anything near Gai's level. He's basically another Kiba.

What about asakujaku, that is like hundreds in one second. But 64 in a few seconds is fast, I will admit I forget about that move. Also I always thoguht that it was additive, like two, then two more than four more then 8 more, then 16 then 32. Instead of 2 then 4 then 8 then 16 then 32 then 64. In other words i thought it was 64 total not 64+32+16+8+4+2. If the first case then it is more like 64 in 7-8 seconds. if the second case, then like 126 in 7-8 seconds.
