This post will reveal Gai his ultimate summonings and it will explain his clothing style.

Here we go!
First of all, as you probably know already, Gai has a Turtle summoning contract.
Gai has 4 Ultimate summonings, known by the name of the Teenage Mutant NINJA Turtles.
TMNT for short. Here is proof that guy summoned his TMNT in the naruto universe.
And they can use ninjutsu as well.
Their favorite meal is pizza.
Here are the 4 of them together.
Gai doesnt recognize faces, so he gave them all a different color headband, to keep them apart xd.
His favorite summoning is the turtle, who goes by the name of Michelangelo.
Gai learned many things from this turtle. He received clothing advice. He also taught Gai all his Taijutsu moves
and how to fight with nun-chucks.
Gai does not wear his headband around his waist for nothing.
He doesnt wear his Konoha flak jacket open for no reason either.
They represent the belt on the waist and the turtle shield.
His green tights represent green turtle skin. These are all clothing tips from Michelangelo, including the choice for an orange covering around the weights, on Gai his legs.
