Gai and Dai difference

Dai couldnt even take out Fugaki(the fat guy) and Raiga using 8th gate. But Gai almost killed Rikudo Madara. Anyone dumbfounded by this HUGE diffirence. Its really unatural imo. I thought the 8th gate gives 5kage level power.

Dai likely didn't design special moves with the gates like Night Guy. Those are what really gave the 8th gate its power. We also don't know the fate of all members. The canon Raiga is different from filler so he probably died. Otherwise he'd look much older at the current point of the manga.

Might Guy is an elite Jonin, the top of Konoha [yes even above Kakashi]. Of course Might Gai is stronger.

The Hachimon Tonko are chakra limiters, it is basically a multiplier. Might Gai's base power was considerably stronger than his father.

What Nagato is what Im confused by Gai can hurt a Juubi Jin while Dai cant even defeat the guy who later got soloed by young Kisame. This difference is what Im saying.

Madara was concerned if Gai hit him 4 to 5 times. And a chunk of him was destroyed if Gai went for his head Maddy would be dead.
